You don't have to be a cook to enjoy this very funny book that will make your eyes water with tears of laughter at the same time that your mouth will have to water over some very tempting E-Z recipes anyone can manage. I read many parts to my husband who laughed as hard as I did over Kit's calamitous journey from virtually clueless in the kitchen to the point where she is now locally famous for her ability to entertain through both sometimes hysterical real-life stories and a style of cooking that will satisfy any appetite, Italian or otherwise. A very entertaining book that would make a lovely gift-even if just for yourself! Certain parts continue to play in my mind like a movie so: Look out Julia! I know Kit hasn't even begun to tell the half of what she could in such a context, so I'm already looking forward to Vol 2.~ Sue Garcia
